Situated on Chicagos North Side, this community area lies adjacent to Lake Shore Drive (LSD) and Lake Michigan, with a dedicated green space in between for recreation and leisure. Residents can relax on Montrose Beach during the summertime, exercise if they like, or simply take in the stunning views at Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary. A variety of music venues provide entertainment to this day, just as several historic districts continue to preserve architectural gems, which continue to define the neighborhood. Utilize nearby LSD or start your journey with the Metra (UP/NL Ravenswood Station). For exploration within city limits, feel free to board the 24-hr CTA Red Line at either the Argyle, Lawrence, or Wilson stops, or hop on any of the seven buses serving Uptown.
